Labour Day!

Labour Day 2015 (Labor Day in the USA) is an annual vacation to congratulate the achievements of workers. Labour Day 2015 has its root in the labour union move, specifically the eight-hour day move, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest. For many countries, Labour Day is synonymous with, or linked with, International Workers’ Day, which happen on 1 May. For other countries, Labour Day is celebrated on a different date, frequently one with special significance for the labour move in that country. Labour Day, also known as Eight Hours Day in Tasmania and May Day in the Northern Territory, mention the granting of the eight-hour working day for Australians. It also recognizes workers’ additive towards the nation’s economy. It is an annual public holiday and its date modify across the states and territories.
