hiiii helloo everyone ! today I have come to bring a trip to the time on the spot ! for today is about livris , literature, the best thing there is!

Troubadour:

ity Ages. Songs ( accompanied by poetry and music sung by troubadours ) Lyrical songs ( of love or friend) and satirical songs ( mocking or cursing ) .

humanism:

Palatial poetry (more elaborate than the songs ) . Gil Vicente ( moralizing theater). Fernão Lopes ( chronic depicting the society of the time ) .

classicism

Renaissance. Anthropocentrism ( appreciation of the man ) , rationalism ( reason valuation) , appreciation of classical arts ( back to ancient Greek and Roman culture ) , paganism ( mythological elements of ancient culture , as the Greek gods ) . The Lusiads ( Camões ) : epic poem , appreciation of the man (who is able to tame the sea and beyond ) , universalism ( conquest of the world ) , paganism ( gods and mythological figures influence the adventure ) . The Portuguese are seen as heroes (because of Maritime Expansion) .

Quinhetismo:

Navigations. Discovery of Brazil. Literature of Information (Caminha's Letter) and Literature of Catechesis (Father Jose de Anchieta).

baroque:

Oppositions, conflicts, dualities (fe x reason, body x soul, sin x virtue, life x death). Cultismo (language complex, play on words, inversions, excess of metaphors and figures of language vocabulary and complicated) and Conceptismo (game ideas, logical reasoning). Authors: Gregory de Matos (Mouth of Hell) and Father Antonio Vieira.

Arcadianism:

Balance and simplicity. Predominance of reason over emotion "Fugere Urbem"" (the city is a bad environment), preferably by nature (environment and bucolic pasture), "carpe diem" (take the time).

romanticism:

Indianismo: the independence of Brazil, national identity, patriotism, nationalism. The indian and the nature are national symbols. Ultrarromantismo: deep pessimism, depression, yearning, individualism, frustrations. Generation "Evil of Century". Condoreirismo: social issue. Castro Alves ( "Poet of Slaves")

realism

World seen in a realistic manner, as he really is. Critical to the social behavior of the season (bourgeoisie, clergy, adultery) psychological Analysis of the characters Machado de Assis (highlighted).

naturalism:

Parnasianism:

modernism:

Beginning with the Week of Modern Art.

1ST Generation (1922 - 1930): colloquial language and free (poetry without rhyme nor metric, totally free and unconcerned with the grammar), with themes inspired by the daily life of people. Mario de Andrade, Oswald de Andrade and Manuel Bandeira.

2ND Generation (1930 - 1945): prose regionalist. The language used in the books has the characteristics of their regions.Graciliano Ramos (author of Vidas Secas), Jorge Amado (author of Masters of Sand), Rachel de Queiroz (author of The Fifteen) and Jose Lins do Rego (author of Fire Dead). Poets: Carlos Drummond de Andrade, Cecilia Meireles and Vinicius de Moraes.

3RD Generation (1945 - 1960): The urban novels, regionalist and intimate. Clarice Lispector (author of Family Ties), Guimaraes Rosa (author of Canastra), John Cabral de Melo Neto (author of Death and Life Severina Condition), Nelson Rodrigues (in the theater).
